Every generic program makes the same bet: that your body will respond to volume, intensity, and recovery exactly the way the person who wrote the program responds. It won't. Training age, joint history, recovery capacity, stress load, sleep quality, and genetics all change how a body adapts — and a PDF downloaded by ten thousand people can't account for any of it.
I've competed at the highest level of this sport and coached hundreds of athletes since, and the pattern is always the same. Someone follows a popular program for eight, ten, twelve weeks. They train hard. They eat "clean." And they plateau — not because they lack discipline, but because the program was never built for their body in the first place.
A personalised program starts from the opposite direction. Instead of forcing you into someone else's split, it's built around your training history, your recoverable volume, the equipment you actually have access to, and the schedule you actually live by. Then it changes — every week, based on how you're responding, not on a fixed template that assumes progress happens on a straight line.
That's the difference between a program and coaching. A program is static. Coaching adapts. And adaptation is what produces results that generic templates simply can't.
If you've run the free programs, hit the plateau, and you're ready for something built around you instead of around the average lifter — that's exactly what personalised coaching with me is for.
